No.    Actually, for "as soon as", we only write one s, so it will be s – n – s: much simpler!  By extension, you can deduce that if there are two initial s, you only write one.  So, "as solid as" would read "s – o – l – e – d – s", and "as slender as" would be "s – l – e – nd – s".   Like always, when in doubt, spell it out!
