OK. I give up. I’ve tried for two days running, and I still can’t work out a word in Lesson 65. It’s in section 530, in the sentence that runs:
“When you use our lists, you have the assurance that your message is being delivered to those merchants throughout the country who are [SOMETHING] for your goods – and to nobody else.”
It’s mem-r. or Men-r. Or something like that. I’ve run out of ideas 🙂

Wahoo! I think I've got it! It's 'in the market'. At least, I think it is…
You got it!
I knew there had to be something I just wasn't seeing. And suddenly, I saw the brief form for market. From there, I worked backwards. There was another outline in Lesson 65, Section 533, that took me ages to get. I almost asked for help, but didn't. It was i – th – r – f – m – a – t. It came to me in flash – 'with reference [to the] matter'. Kevin
Wow. I'm impressed. I never would have gotten it. I stared at it a while, but couldn't see it as a phrase. What made you finally "get" it? Alex
You are encountering phrases that are very common when you take a dictation course in shorthand. They may seem rather odd now because you are learning the system, but later they will become second nature. So don't despair if you can't decipher them in the first place.
One thing though is that a lot of the phrases that were common in pre-anniv and anniv were eliminated in simplified and later series.
