ergonomics

Does anyone have suggestions? I’ve battled RSI at work for years and am very concerned about my hand. I’ve been practicing quite a lot and lately I’m feeling the strain in my wrist. I’ve already figured out it’s best not to rest your elbow or forearm on anything and just let your arm float (same…

Russian Gregg

I know that Gregg was adapted for Russian and as someone who knows that language, I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get my hands on a copy of that version. I also know Vietnamese; but, I don’t believe Gregg was ever adapted to it. I’ve already searched online at abebooks and bookfinder.com…

good text for beginners

Hello.  From the research I’ve done, I think the shorthand version I want to learn is Diamond Jubilee.  Unfortunately, I can’t seem to find a website that sells a beginner-level book for that series, and my local library doesn’t have one either.  Any tips on where I might find this?  Thanks very much. My wife is having our 2nd child!

This week my wife is giving birth to our second child! We are having it at home with a extremely confident midwife. I am learning Anniversary. I can recognize the forms, but I found my real life use of Gregg Shorthand is longer (time wise) than regular writing. So I have really concentrated on learning…

A problem?

I’m in lesson 11 of the DJS manual. Is it normal for me to read slow? (about 3-4 min. to read a paragraph). I’m really worried that there may be something wrong.(oh and I haven’t practiced writing yet. I still don’t have a good notebook.) (by zekiel13 for everyone)
