The Gregg Group was founded 22 May 2004, prompted by the lack of online shorthand resources. As the primary use for shorthand — business and legal recording — has waned in recent decades, we generally acclaim the skill as a hobby or personal tool. The purpose of the group is to promote the use of Gregg systems of shorthand by providing advice to beginners, support for students, and an association of users of this efficient, attractive, and enjoyable method of writing.

The transcript is as follows: When I go to meet my maker I hope you will honor my wishes as follows: I don’t want a funeral; I do not want a memorial service; if you feel the need of a grave side service; let it be a celebration of life – not tears and sorrow. I hope this is helpful.
Remarkable and impressive transcription, considering the illegibility of a great number of the signs.
Thanks. 🙂
I read through it a couple of times and noticed a couple of principles that seemed to be repeated (the two "oo's" for the "wa" sound and the dot "h" for the soft vowel sound at the beginning of the word). I'm glad it wasn't any longer, I have a feeling my result may not have been as good. 🙂
