Pen repair??

And another question since at least some of the people here seem to be into writing instruments.
Does anyone have recommendations of people who repair fountain pens?  I have an inexpensive Esterbrook with the 1555 Gregg point which was a really nice writer until the ink sac finally gave up.  And another Parker which I used when I studied Notehand long ago.  It too was a good writer.  For sentimental reasons if nothing else I’d like to get at least one of them repaired.  I’ve looked at the websites for the Southern Scribe and Pentiques.
It would be nice to hear from someone who has actually used and been satisfied with a pen repairer..

  1. I found a guy here in San Francisco who repaired my Wahl-Eversharp.  He's a Wahl fan, but I am pretty sure he has the ability to fix your ink sack problem.  He did a great job on my pen.  He is really economical, too.  It's about $35 for him to repair the pen.    His name is Syd Saperstein, his e-mail address is [email protected].   Drop him a note.  He's a very nice man.  The fountain pen is a labor of love for him.
