The Gregg Group was founded 22 May 2004, prompted by the lack of online shorthand resources. Interesting, a secretary (who has many other skills) is expected to have higher speed than a stenographer (whom I would assume had specialized in stenography). Or maybe stenographer is a junior position, and higher speed is one of the many skills required for promotion.
Yay, he says it's more useful to learn words in context than in lists! (Oh, that's for the final push to 175. Sigh.)
