Shorthand Terminology

Hi, dear friends!
I enclose herewith a copy in PDF of the “Shorthand Terminology”. That is the result of an extensive research I have carried out during the last 10 months. I have read 31 shorthand textbooks in the whole, including digitized books from Internet.
I am very glad to make this “Shorthand Terminology” public on the occasion of the 48th Intersteno Congress, next July in Paris.
And, as I have said on the foreword, “ I hope this collection serves as a subsidy for all those that are either interested in teaching/learning shorthand or are simply lovers of this art and wish to know the vast terminology used in this field.”
Friendly regards from Brazil,
Waldir Cury

  1. Prof. Cury – This is a useful and very welcome contribution! Thanks very much for sharing.

I wonder if you had access to the glossary in Analytical Lessons in Gregg Shorthand (1924) by Minnie DeMott Frick? If not, and if you're interested, I'll gladly post it here.
