  1. I made a mistake, so I had to start over. Some of the punctuations are probably wrong, but here goes:

IN A RECENT GREGG WRITER. I NOTICED THE OLD SAYING. "OPPORTUNITY KNOCKS BUT ONCE." I HEARD IN A GOOD LECTURE A SHORT TIME AFTERWARD THAT THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST ERRONEOUS AND HARMFUL STATEMENTS EVER MADE. AND THIS STRUCK HOME WITH ME: THAT OPPORTUNITY DOES NOT KNOCK BUT ONCE. THAT IT KNOCKS CONTINUALLY. AND THAT IF WE FAIL TO GRASP ONE OPPORTUNITY. WE SHOULD NOT SIT DOWN AND THINK THAT THERE IS NO MORE CHANCE FOR US. BUT SHOULD BE PREPARED WHEN THE NEXT
OPPORTUNITY COMES. REMEMBER. OPPORTUNITY IS ALWAYS KNOCKING.
