The Gregg Group was founded 22 May 2004, prompted by the lack of online shorthand resources. "Archibald" and "Mildred" 🙂
It's interesting to see how fashions change, and names is one place where this is pretty apparent.
Cool! I had always wondered about the spelling of my name, which is Rachel, and couldn't decide if the proper outline would have been to spell out the name fully or to write it as R-a-ch-l, and now I have the answer. Thanks for posting this.
Great! I'm glad this was useful!
This is a great resource! The uniqueness of each outline reflects the uniqueness of each name. We get so used to common nouns and vocabulary, and names always surprise us when we see them written in Gregg. As an alternative to the common outline for "Michael," I follow the "my", "life", "like" principle and use a simple circle for the vowel. Saves a little time.
