Comparison of Various Notehand Editions

I compiled this chart showing the identical (or similar) paragraphs/units that are found between the various Notehand texts.

Since all three editions are out of print, I mainly did this to help the teacher match up lessons with my dictation recordings, for whichever text a student might happen to have. This chart will
also help with lesson planning by showing what material is unique to each edition (which is useful if
you are looking for additional practice without having to skim through
the text(s) to look for new material.) There is only so much available
for notehand out there!

Column 1:  Gregg Notehand:  A Personal Use Shorthand with Integrated Instruction in How to Make Notes (1960) – includes 70 units (10 of which are about note-taking), 172 paragraphs, and a key.
Column 2:  Essentials of Gregg Notehand:  Intensive Theory & Practice (1961) – includes 30 units (5 of which are about note-taking ), 109 paragraphs, 10 technical vocabularies, and a key.
Column 3:  Gregg Notehand, 2nd edition (1968) – includes 70 units (43 of which are about note-taking), 171 paragraphs, and a key.
