The Gregg Group was founded 22 May 2004, prompted by the lack of online shorthand resources. As the primary use for shorthand — business and legal recording — has waned in recent decades, we generally acclaim the skill as a hobby or personal tool. The purpose of the group is to promote the use of Gregg systems of shorthand by providing advice to beginners, support for students, and an association of users of this efficient, attractive, and enjoyable method of writing.

This is great Washbear. I have been trying for a while now to master Greggs (I originally learned Pitman New Era), and I am finding I quite like Notehand. It seems a bit slower as it drip feeds information to you. Once I have got to grips with this, I will look at another version.
Glad you like it! Were you able to get a hold of a Gregg Notehand textbook (Practice Drills is just a workbook for it)? The 2nd edition is really pricey right now, unfortunately.
I am using a book from an interlibrary site as an ebook. I would like a paper copy though. I always prefer the real thing! 🙂
Hello Washbear,
Google Drive feels I need permission to open the “Practical Drills” attachment, so I’ve requested it. Thanks for putting workbook here.
You have access, Dave. Check the email address that you’re using to access GDrive. If not, send me a note.
