Word endings and beginnings for Simplified

My DJS book has a section at the back with “Recall drills.” It is a list of joined and disjoined word endings and  joined  and disjoined word beginnings. It’s very handy.

I was wondering if there is a list like that for Simplified? I’m trying to learn it, but I have cognitive problems due to health problems, so I forget what I’ve learned. It would make it so much easier to have a reference list.

  1. Yes, there is, but it is not in the basic manual (as it is in DJS). It is in both editions of Vol. 2 of Gregg Shorthand Simplified for Colleges, in the second edition of Gregg Transcription Simplified, and in both editions of the high school version of Gregg Speed Building Simplified. (Interestingly, the Gregg Dictation Simplified books and the Gregg Speed Building Simplified for Colleges books do not have this appendix.) If you don't have any of those books that have the appendix, let me know.

  2. Thanks, Carlos, I do have an advanced dictation book and it is in there. I never thought to look there, since I haven't finished the first book.
