Carlos, I've just read "Some Fables". I think there's something missing in "The young Thief and His Mother", lines 3-6. It reads:
His mother, so far from correcting him, and gave him an apple for his pains.
From the rest of the story I infer that she took the book from him. Is that what's missing?
