Internet Archive Down

In case you didn’t know, the Internet Archive (archive.org, openlibrary.org, and the Wayback Machine) suffered a major cyberattack a few days ago. For that reason, if you’re trying to access materials from those sites, you may not be able to do so. They expect to restore full service in a few days, so hopefully this interruption will be short-lived. The Verge has the latest news about it. As of now, the Wayback Machine has been restored and is fully functional.

This is another reminder not to rely exclusively on electronic means to study shorthand! Always have hard copies of your study materials.

  1. I appreciate your posting this. I was there a day or two ago and just chalked it up to my poor internet.

I totally agree that the internet is super convenient and helpful, but hard copy is still the king.
