If You’re Having Blog Login Problems, Read This

I have received some notices about unsuccessful logins by users of the blog, where users try to log repeatedly to the site but remain logged out. This seems to happen with only some accounts and some browsers. When this happens, once the user inputs their login information and clicks on the “Log In” button, the browser will redirect to the Dashboard page (where your personal blog settings reside), and the main page of the blog will show that the user is still not in.

To solve this issue, once you are on the Dashboard page, do the following:

1. Scroll down to the section that reads “Account Management.”
2. Click on the button that reads “Log Out Everywhere Else” next to “Sessions.”
3. Scroll to the end of the page and click “Update Profile.”
4. Go back to the main page of the blog (click on the “Gregg Shorthand Visit Site” pull down from the top of the page).
5. Login again and see if you can get in.

Note: If the option of “Log Out Everywhere Else” cannot be selected, it means that you are indeed logged in. Open a new tab in your browser and go to gregg-shorthand.com on that tab (don’t go back to the main page on the Dashboard tab). It should now show that you are logged in. Also, try to go to any message and verify that you are logged in.

I apologize for these problems. I’m trying to troubleshoot the problem from my end as well.

If you still have problems, please let me know (“About, Contact” on the blog menu).
