Nathan Tardiff of Noodler’s Ink has designed a 12″ long fountain pen especially for shorthand. The idea is that a pen this long won’t burp out ink as the hand warms the pen during lengthy writing sessions. See the video here. He’s using his invisible ink Blue Ghost in the pen. He won’t be making it available commercially, but he did say if you contact him he might make you one. Anyway, it’s not often you see something new being made for shorthand, and though he mentioned Pitman shorthand specifically, I thought this would be pretty fun for Gregg shorthand, too.
