Randomly while looking for something completely different I came across a copy of Gregg’s Shorthand, Eleventh Edition (copyright 1898, published 1899).
The preface indicates that this is the “seventh American edition” and “eleventh English edition”.
For a book this old, it’s in remarkably good condition. I haven’t located a copy of it online, so I went ahead and scanned it. The two prefaces are interesting, and the book presents the early form of pre-Anniversary Gregg.
My scan is here.
Something of interest to the shorthand historians among us.
