Marking shorthand style initials

Hi all,

Context
I work in the IT industry and use shorthand for initial thought organisation as the marks is made fast (faster than typing) so that there is little thinking interference. There are many abbr. already in the industry, say, programming languages (HTML, C++(cpp), etc), file extensions (pdf, jpg…). Writing these are handy but when I read these, my brain tries to decode with the complex Gregg system with many possibility, making it slow and hard to understand such phrases.

Topic for discussion
May I have some advice on handling shorthand initials? I am considering marking with two vertical dots (“) under the finish of the phrase. Another option I have considered is too learn and use Teeline specifically for these cases as it is by itself a spelt-out shorthand. Having little experience I cannot decide what works better. I appreciate any advice/idea/experience you share.

Thank you for your attention.
