Theory Group 3 – Simplified Dictation Recordings

Here’s Theory Group 3, which covers Lessons 25-36 from the Gregg Shorthand Manual Simplified 2nd edition text. The recordings are closely aligned to this in-print text. These dictations are mostly 60 wpm, though one recording was duplicated at 70 wpm.

There were very few scratches in this set; only 4 skips in the whole box set (and those are noted in the attached chart).  I cleaned them up and enhanced them as best as I could in Audacity, particularly in trying to soften those pops, which can be so jarring when trying to listen to dictation with headphones.  As far as the recordings that do have scratches in them go, for the first time, I recommend listening to them all the way through while following along in the book so that you’ll have a sense of what’s coming.

Like the previous box sets, this zip file contains 12 mp3 files and 1 .pdf.  Each mp3 averages about 6 minutes and covers one complete lesson.  Click here for a key to the Simplified text/recordings.
