Rider University houses the Louis A. Leslie Shorthand Collection.
It looks like the university is in financial trouble, laying off 25% of its full time faculty, cutting everyone’s pay by 14%, and stopping contributions to employee retirement.
If Rider closes–as many small private schools are doing–I assume the shorthand collection would be at risk of sale or dispersal.
A bit of news worth paying attention to.
