The Gregg Writer volume 33 (1930-31) is currently available to download as a PDF file through Google books at the link at the bottom of this post.
It is missing the index. There are also a few missing pages (203-204 “stenography in the office” article.) There are duplicates of pages 202 & 205. In addition, several of the Shorthand pages are light.
The previously published individual issues from Volume 33 on the Internet archive are lower resolution, but the pages are not faded, there are no missing pages, and the index is included. Most of the pages in this Google Books scan have higher resolution Shorthand than those on the Internet archive and are easier to read.
Google books errs on the side of caution and does not publish these volumes of the Gregg Writer for download until the publication year. They incorrectly list the publication year as 1930 for this volume. They didn’t realize that this was published in 1931 and includes January through June 1931.
However, no issues of the Gregg Writer magazine were renewed with the US copyright office. The only items possibly still copyrighted for the 1931 issues might be a few individual articles or shorthand stories in the 1931 magazines that were separately copyrighted.
