The Gregg Group was founded 22 May 2004, prompted by the lack of online shorthand resources. As the primary use for shorthand — business and legal recording — has waned in recent decades, we generally acclaim the skill as a hobby or personal tool. The purpose of the group is to promote the use of Gregg systems of shorthand by providing advice to beginners, support for students, and an association of users of this efficient, attractive, and enjoyable method of writing.

A complete set of sound files for the speed-building tests (and a desire to add a feature to the program — put codes in the text to change speed within text — it might have been faster than piecing together bits from several ssml files).
The zip file is about 18MB.
If you find a mistake, let me know. I haven’t confirmed the calibration for super-low speeds. Let me know if it’s off by enough to cause a problem.
