The Christmas Seals campaign was launched in the United States by the American Red Cross in 1907. Nowadays, it is managed by American Lung Association. The money collected from donations to the Christmas Seal campaign is used in the fight against lung diseases. Some of these stamps are collectibles, and there is a group, The Christmas Seal & Charity Stamp Society, that promotes this hobby. This selection appeared in the December 1930 issue of The Gregg Writer. Although today the prices will be higher than noted in the article, it is still an interesting read.
