A few months back, I bought an Anniversary functional manual and started reading it. At some point, it occurred to me that high school students probably spent an hour per day in class and 40 minutes outside of class studying the manual. I didn’t have that much time. My study was somewhat intermittent, and when I finished lesson 22, I wasn’t confident that I would be able to start writing. I could semi-fluently read the assignments, but I certainly hadn’t read them several times, and I couldn’t read them aloud comfortably, either. My reading dropped off somewhat while I reread previous lessons. I still can’t read aloud comfortably, especially things I haven’t almost memorized. (Often I predict the next few words from memory when I read.)
But I don’t know how much I could still gain by rereading these half-memorized lessons more. Should I start writing? Should I start back at the beginning, or near to it, and write the lessons from there? If not, what should I read, and when should I write?
