The Gregg Group was founded 22 May 2004, prompted by the lack of online shorthand resources. As the primary use for shorthand — business and legal recording — has waned in recent decades, we generally acclaim the skill as a hobby or personal tool. The purpose of the group is to promote the use of Gregg systems of shorthand by providing advice to beginners, support for students, and an association of users of this efficient, attractive, and enjoyable method of writing.
Hi, everybody! I have uploaded to Archive.org a PDF containing the book written by two shorthand reporters of the Chilean Chamber Deputies, 1952 edition. Out of interest I got a second-hand copy of “Gregg Speed Practice Simplified” (1956 published by McGraw-Hill in a 7×5 inch format with plates by W.C. Blackwell — the content seems identical to the 1950 book from Gregg publishing). The book is interesting, but of no use to me now as I transferred (possibly wrongly)…
