I have created and am sharing a link to 34 Decks of Digital Flashcards that comprise most of the words in the Units of the Gregg Anniversary Edition. The Words are all images directly taken from a pdf of the book and amount to over 3000 translated words. They were created for a “Flashcards Deluxe” app on the iphone/ipad/ipod, which has a text-to-speech feature that I highly recommend over the audio files I have also produced to go along with them. If you use the “FD” app you can easily copy and paste the .xlsx files into the orangeorapple website to upload the decks. Otherwise, I have also included inside the folder two .studyarch files that can be directly uploaded to Mental Case if that’s preferred. (note if you change this extension from .studyarch to .zip you can download the .csv files inside which are distinct from the xlsx that are readily visible). If you use neither of these software, I imagine it would not take much effort to rearrange the columns/headings in the corresponding .csv files to suit your program/app. I have also included the commands I used in Terminal to streamline the creation of these audio files, feel free to create your own using the code, perhapds w/ a different voice if you’re running on 10.7. The real bulk of work was in producing single audio and image files anyhow. On my phone, side 1 of the cards has the word written long hand while it is spoken. Upon turning the card over, the Gregg form is revealed. I do this so that I can hear the word, write it down and immediately validate/invalidate what i’ve written at my own pace because i’m new.
I apologize if the audio or images aren’t too good, I hope they are audible and legible enough to confirm your written responses. I hope this helps someone make the learning easier, feel free to improve upon it, share it, and let me know what you think!
Cheers,
David

Update: For those that have the Flashcards Deluxe app, I have shared the decks w/ the exception of 27 because i need to edit some file names apparently. In the app hit the “+”, then “Shared Library”, then “Search” in the search type in “GS Unit” and units 1 through 36 should show up. You should be able to download them directly, make sure you’ve got 3g or wifi turned on otherwise it can be a bit of a wait.
