“The Art of Making A Speech” is a short Pre-Anniversary book circa 1920. There are a few markings on the pages. Also a few pages were torn in the source book that was scanned.
John Gregg’s signature is on the cover, but that might be a fake.
The Gregg Group was founded 22 May 2004, prompted by the lack of online shorthand resources. As the primary use for shorthand — business and legal recording — has waned in recent decades, we generally acclaim the skill as a hobby or personal tool. The purpose of the group is to promote the use of Gregg systems of shorthand by providing advice to beginners, support for students, and an association of users of this efficient, attractive, and enjoyable method of writing.

Yeah, definitely his signature. After spending a good hour duplicating his signature into an illustrator file, I feel prepared to stand behind that assumption. 🙂
That's Gregg's signature, indeed. Interesting booklet.
