Thanks for posting. The letters in this book are very stereotypical of that era, so there are a lot of expedients that were used. The shorthand is from the 1902 manual.
How do you use Google Books? I can't work out how to view the book.
Once you click on the link, you will see an Ebook-free red button with white letters on the top left. If you put your mouse on it, it will give you the option to download. You can also click on that button, and I believe it should give you a landing page where you can add it to your Google account. To access your library, go to books.google.com, and click on "My Library" below the search box.
