The Gregg Group was founded 22 May 2004, prompted by the lack of online shorthand resources. As the primary use for shorthand — business and legal recording — has waned in recent decades, we generally acclaim the skill as a hobby or personal tool. The purpose of the group is to promote the use of Gregg systems of shorthand by providing advice to beginners, support for students, and an association of users of this efficient, attractive, and enjoyable method of writing.
I have been contacted by a retired business education teacher who has in her possession several Gregg Shorthand Speed Award Pins. She would like to give these to someone who would like to have them as collection pieces. There are a few at 80 wpm and 120 wpm, and several at 100 wpm.

I think that's a really nice offer. I have a couple of these Gregg pins that I've found over the years, as well as an OGA (Order of Gregg Artists) pin.
They're fun reminders of an era in shorthand history that's long gone.
