Folks,
There’s a Pitman Reporting Style book on Ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/PITMAN-2000-SHORTHAND-REPORTING-STYLE-HC-PAGES-264_W0QQitemZ110373629368QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAU_Books_Textbooks?hash=item110373629368&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1326|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318|301%3A0|293%3A1|294%3A50) available for sale.
The book is the one designed to move a stenographer from Pitman 2000 a bit closer to New Era–and closer verbatim reporting.
Thought some of you might like to know. . . .

for everyone)
"and closer TO verbatim reporting."
Why do we always find the type AFTER we've posted?
Shtypoes happen! Two years ago before getting a few intro & internediate New era texts plus the "miracle" book George Amberson recommended, I'd have gone for it. But having acquired the "big" Gregg Expert and Reporting books (the hard to find Blanchard and Swem speed courses for verbatim coverage), I've lost interest in working with Pitman. Gregg is so comfortable to read and use, expecially with the "advanced" briefs and phrasing, I just want to increase my Gregg ability and now, with time on my hands, am really enjoying memorizing more shortcuts.
Thanks for sharing, Marc!
