1916 UK manual

Hi all,
I got my eBay Pre-Anny manual yesterday. I’m not going to use it – at least not until I’ve mastered Anniversary thoroughly – but I thought I’d share a couple of pics with you. They’re in the documents section.
It’s tailored for the UK, as you’ll see from the intro, and Lesson 17 has outlines for Nationalist Party (now defunct), Liberal Party and Act of Parliament, among others.
The lessons are laid out a little differently to the US manual, and there’s no ‘Talk with the Beginner’. Perhaps pep talks weren’t the done thing over here at the time!

  1. Judging from the lesson page that you posted (Lesson 17, paragraphs 186 and 187), the lesson and paragraph alignment is exactly like the 1902 version of the American manual: the "Revised Edition". It doesn't correspond to the 1916 version of the US manual: the "New and Revised Edition". It is interesting that the UK manual is 14 years behind!
