The Gregg Group was founded 22 May 2004, prompted by the lack of online shorthand resources. As the primary use for shorthand — business and legal recording — has waned in recent decades, we generally acclaim the skill as a hobby or personal tool. The purpose of the group is to promote the use of Gregg systems of shorthand by providing advice to beginners, support for students, and an association of users of this efficient, attractive, and enjoyable method of writing.

Carlos, thank you very much for this. It is nice to make progress, — I am able to read and understand more. 🙂
Glad to know!
Thanks for the motivational shorthand! I could read this easily!

Hello, I moved and I’m back.
I want to know if it’s possible to have the transcription of the text in english.
I’m interested by the subject but I only know French Gregg and it’s almost impossible for me to understand a word of this text. So, I’m a bit frustrated.
Please.
This essay was taken from the book Wit and Wisdom of the Rev. Sydney Smith, which is available on Google Books. The essay is on page 201.
Thank you, Carlos.
