Help with a translation
I am needing some help translating some shorthand that I came across in one of my (deceased) grandmother’s journals. If anyone could help with this, it would be greatly appreciated. (by athena for everyone)
The Gregg Group was founded 22 May 2004, prompted by the lack of online shorthand resources. As the primary use for shorthand — business and legal recording — has waned in recent decades, we generally acclaim the skill as a hobby or personal tool. The purpose of the group is to promote the use of Gregg systems of shorthand by providing advice to beginners, support for students, and an association of users of this efficient, attractive, and enjoyable method of writing.

Wow, you guys oughta see this– A rare, light-line phonography book written by a contemporary of Gregg’s, named Pernin– According to my information, Pernin’s system was written by about 3% of Americans in 1894. It might be interesting to see how close to Gregg it is. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=356&item=7330493523&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW (by georgeamberson1 for everyone)
